You may be familiar with the famous Netflix Culture Deck that the company released a few years ago — it now has over 11 million views on Slideshare. Today Linkedin is debuting their own culture deck called SHIFT. It provides some great insights into the inner workings of the company. The presentation covers three types of transformation (self, company, and world) and the core values of the company. While the culture deck does have some interesting tidbits it doesn’t explore the policies, perks, or approaches that Linkedin has towards working, which is what I was really hoping to see. For example, nothing is mentioned of the internal incubator program, the allowance that employees are given to take out an interesting person for coffee, how decision-making gets done, and the like. Still, it’s worth checking out below. Pat Wadors, the Head of Global Talent at Linkedin, will actually be presenting to members of the FOWCommunity on April 29th in San Francisco where she will be sharing more information on corporate culture. I will also be interviewing Pat for an upcoming episode of The Future of Work Podcast so if you have questions or want to learn more, leave a comment and I’ll make sure to ask Pat. For now, enjoy the Linkedin SHIFT Culture Deck.
