Today on the Future in 5, I talk about experimenting. A lot of organizations are trying to figure out what the future of work is going to look like. I’m often asked what steps they should take — what they should be thinking about. Ultimately, I think in this business environment where things are changing so quickly, the best way to mitigate that uncertainty is to run experiments. We need to start treating our organizations more like labs where we can experiment and less like factories where everything is formulaic and based on a template. I expand upon this point further in this episode including sharing some of the cool things some organizations are doing. My challenge for you is “what are you or your organization doing to allow employees to run experiments?” Leave me a comment. Or, if you have any cool stories about companies that are running experiments or testing ideas, take a moment and share them with me.
