Yoho ZOHO a Business Life For Me!

the official zoho logoIf you’re like me, then you are always on the look out for useful and practical business tools that can help you manage clients, increase operating efficiency, and just plain make life easier. Wouldn’t it be great to have a free Salesforce type platform to manage contacts? Or how about a free way to hold web conferencing calls? Better yet, how about a free project management tool? If these sound like tools that you or your business may find useful, then read on my friends.

Zoho is a free site that offers online applications for virtually all aspects of business. I have been using Zoho for the past few months and have really begun to appreciate and value their tools. Take a look at the screen shot below to see the products they have to offer.

A screen shot of the Zoho tools

Some of the tools that I personally been using are the following:

  • Zoho CRM to manage my contact base and prospective client database
  • Zoho Projects to keep track of deadlines, milestones, and new project assignment
  • Zoho Show to create presentations to prospective clients or employees

I have dabbled around with a few of the other tools as well and I have a feeling I will be using many more in the near future. Check out Zoho and let me know what you think. If any of you guys are using Zoho I would like to hear what tools you find the most valuable. Are there any other free business tools out there that you would recommend?

Thanks for reading!

  1. Personally, I’ve been using Zoho CRM for a few months now to manage contacts and fulfill invoices. I use Salesforce at my day job and Zoho CRM seems to mirror it fairly well.

I’d still like to look into some of the other tools Zoho has available to see what else may be of use. Zoho Projects sounds very interesting.

As far as other free tools, you can’t hardly have a conversation like this without mentioning Google’s subset of business products like Google Calendar, Google Docs and the rest.

  2. I am big fan of zoho CRM, but you are absolutely correct. Google does have its fair share of online business tools as well, Zoho does have some pretty neat stuff though.
