The shift towards focusing on employee experience is not random and it is not solely driven by organizations. The focus towards employee experience is not just a “work thing”, it is something that has come about because of the global change in values, expectations and mindsets.

Organizations have been putting a lot time and resources into employee experience and employee engagement. But the reason they are investing so much is because they realize that individual employees value health, wellness, social impact, sustainability, etc…Employees care about leading meaningful and productive lives.

We are bringing all of these expectations, values, and mindsets with us into our organizations. There isn’t a distinct work life and personal life anymore, they are being blurred together. This is what is pushing organizations to focus on employee experience.

Employee experience is not just a work thing, it is a human evolution thing.
