I have some exciting news.  I’m now an official contributor to both  CMSWire and Search Engine Watch! I’ve been writing for both of these sites for a few weeks now but I’m finally ready to officially announce it.  If you’re not familiar with these two publications here’s what they are about along with what I’m going to be covering on each one:

Search Engine Watch

Search Engine Watch used to be all about Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization.  Now they feature topics such as analytics and social media.  Since SCRM and customer engagement beyond social media is starting to become a popular topic they are now adding this to their repertoire of columns.

I’m going to have a monthly column for SEW where I’m going to be focusing on new customer engagement strategies better known as Social CRM.  The good thing about SEW is that they are giving me a bit more freedom in terms of writing about what I want and how I want so I’ll try to mix it up a bit and perhaps feature some guest authors.  I already have two articles up for SEW which you can check out.  I used to read SEW back in the days when I was still an active SEO (search engine optimization) guy so it’s exciting to be a part of this growing publication.  SCRM is a relatively new topic for them and they asked me to help lead the charge so I’m really looking forward to making that happen.  You can expect some interesting things around this area in the near future on SEW.

CMSWire

CMSWire is one of the leading technology publications which covers trends and news for many of the vendors and events you hear about such as Oracle Open World, Jive World, and Dreamforce.  CMSWire also provides how to advice and content management tips.  The publication itself is quite diverse and the audience includes CIOs, analysts, vendors, and decision makers.

You may have already seen some of my articles floating around the web (scroll down) for CMSWire.  My articles for CMSWire are going to be written with my “analyst” hat on.  Meaning I’m going to be covering trends in the customer engagement space, reviewing events and products, and providing some insight into actual “how-to” type stuff.  I have a weekly column for CMSWire so there’s going to be a lot more content floating around on there.  I’m also going to be covering some Enterprise 2.0 and collaboration type stuff as well.

Needles to say I’m very excited to be a part of both of these publications.  Both sites are quite different from one another which is a good thing because it’s going to force me to write from more of an analyst perspective while still being able to explore the creative freedoms that I enjoy so much on my own personal blog.  I hope you will join me on both of these sites as they both offer top notch content from a slew of experts, analysts, and practitioners.

Thanks as always for all of your support, your comments, and your thoughts!
