Since I’ve just finished a keynote in Paris for CrossKnowledge with over 900 professionals in the learning space, I thought it would be fitting to share three ways that the world of learning is changing. So take it in while you enjoy the lovely view of the Notre Dame Cathedral in the background!

With all of the technological advances we are experiencing, learning no longer needs to be done 100% in person. Now employees can use any device in any location for education and training, whenever is convenient! The relationship that employees have with learning is also changing. Instead of the organization dictating what the employees learn, there is another level of learning between employees that is strengthened by the use of technology. Finally, the topic and themes of learning are becoming less dictated by the organization. Employees are empowered to learn whatever they think may be beneficial to their jobs!

Is your organization enabling learning in new and exciting ways? Let us know what you think!
