Connie and I are very pleased to welcome Earl Alikpala to the Chess Media Group team. Earl brings a unique background to the team since he has a degree in biology and is currently finishing up another degree in marketing management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. We have several new initiatives coming up which Earl is going to be leading for us (I will share these soon) and we anticipate that he will be able to apply his knowledge and experience to multiple facets of the company ranging from marketing to strategic planning to client services. We are very excited that Chess Media Group is able to continue to grow and are fortunate to have Earl being a key member of our team.
Earl is currently based in Vancouver (same city as Connie) and is a member of several groups and associations there including Students in Free Enterprise (which helps create economic opportunity in communities by empowering and teaching others about market economics, entrepreneurship, success skills, financial literacy and business ethics), Vancouver Board of Trade, and the Vancouver College Alumni Association.
When not working and participating in his many other group activities, Earl enjoys to spend time outdoors and just like Connie and I, is an avid traveler. He is a technology enthusiast and a big fan of the Vancouver Canucks (which means he will get along with Connie just fine!).
