2010 happy new yearBefore I get into how we can work together let me start off by letting you know where I’m going to be over the next month in the hopes that we might be able to meet in person at one of these locations:

  • In LA until Jan 4th
  • At CES in Vegas from Jan 7-10th
  • In Washington DC from Jan 13-19th
  • In Turkey from around Feb 9-12th

If you want to get together at any of these events/locations to discuss how we might be able to work together then please let me know now.

2010 is going to be an exciting year for everyone (I hope) and I’m certainly hoping to work with many other large brands looking to get involved in the social business space.  I really want to help companies get on the right track with their social business efforts for the new year (and moving forward) while building some really solid relationships with great brands.  I realize that some companies have large budgets to work with while others do not.  However, there are other options for large brands that are not willing to commit to large budgets yet.  Here is a great way to get started; we can spend a few hours (or days) together discussing your goals and focusing on building a foundation or framework for how your organization can get involved.  These day sessions can provide huge bennefits for your organization from both a cost savings and strategic standpoint by:

  • Giving you a solid understanding of what is going on in the social business space so that you can make better informed decisions from an organizational, strategic, and technology standpoint.
  • Helping you understand the costs and benefits of social business.
  • Meeting with department heads to get an idea of where your organization stands in terms of social business readiness.
  • Discussing collaboration strategies and determining if collaboration even makes sense for your company.
  • Recommending potential software vendors that you should be looking at.
  • Providing you with a solid list of action items and next steps to help you get moving in the right direction.
  • Determining if/what aspects of social business make sense for your organization.  Maybe investing that 300k in your social media or intranet strategy just doesn’t make sense.
  • Looking at where the potential quick wins are and identifying where the longer terms wins are.
  • Providing you with a realistic timeline and high level social business roadmap.
  • Discussing case studies and examples that are relevant and actually applicable to your organization.

These sessions can run anywhere from around 5-10K+ which is really a small cost when you think about the benefits mentioned above.  The reality is that there is no good excuse for why brands can’t at least get started with finding out about social business and how it can impact their organization.

If your organization is seriously considering either an external or internal social business strategy then let’s work together to make sure it’s done right.

I wish all of you a very happy, prosperous, and exciting 2010 and look forward to building relationships and working with you!
