I attended the IBM 100 event in San Francisco, celebrating 100 years of IBM.  I met a lot of interesting people at the event including Dr. Jai Menon, the CTO and VP of Technical Strategy for IBM’s Systems and Technology Group.  Jai told us (Blake and I) about Watson, a computer that took IBM 3 years to build for the sole purpose of being a Jeopardy world champion (the implications are actually quite huge considering that the computer has to understand and process language faster than humans and respond with information while NOT being connected to the internet).  Watch the video below to hear more about Watson and hopefully you can watch the broadcast of the event on Feb 14, 15th, and 16th!
